Similar ceremonies celebrating the International Francophone Day will also be organized in Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho and Hue cities late March.

According to Anne Lange, President of the Group of Francophone Embassies, Delegations, and Institutions in Vietnam (GADIF) said that with the slogan “Speaking French, please!” the event aims to send an open and modern message to 300 million French speakers around the world.
