Presenting gifts to the island's people.

PANO - Members of a tour, themed "Youth Voyage," visited Con Co Island district on July 11th. The tour was organized by the Vietnam Coast Guard Command, with the participation of troops of the command; youths of the military-run telecom group Viettel, the People's Police Academy, Ha Dong district Youth Union in Hanoi, and the Vua A Dinh Scholarship Fund.

During the event, they visited the War Martyrs' Memorial and Traditional House, and were briefed by the island district's leaders on the island’s development and construction. On this occasion, members of the tour presented gifts, worth over VND 60 million, to the island's troops and people and attended sport competitions with locals. Notably, they took part in a special art exchange, themed "The fatherland seen from sea," in the evening of the same day at the island district's cultural house.
