PANO - The Vietnam Theater Artists Association held a ceremony on September 12 to mark the Vietnam Theater Day in Hanoi in the presence of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai.

The event aims to honor artists of theater and encourage them to create more art works with high artistic values.

Addressing the event, Chairman of the Vietnam Theater Artists Association Le Tien Tho sent his congratulations to senior artists, meritorious artists, people artists, and his colleagues nationwide. He stressed that this offers an opportunity for artists to pay tribute to the sector and audiences across the country.

Meanwhile, southern artists held a similar event at the Ho Chi Minh City's Youth Cultural House with performances by artists Kim Tu Long, Van Khanh, Phuong Hang. On this occasion, the artists handed over 10 scholarships, worth VND 1 million each, to children of disadvantaged artists.
