The ceremony was held in a year marked by several significant anniversaries. November 9, 2026, marks 80 years since the National Assembly adopted Viet Nam’s first Constitution, and is also observed as Viet Nam Law Day. The event took place ahead of the 81st anniversary of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Viet Nam (January 6, 1946). It also formed part of celebrations for the 195th anniversary of Tuyen Quang province’s establishment (November 4, 1831).

N.A. President Tran Thanh Man, his spouse and delegates attend the inauguration ceremony for the upgraded Tan Trao - Trung Yen Revolutionary Road and the ATK Tan Trao Museum. |
Stretching 9.2 kilometers, the Tan Trao - Trung Yen Revolutionary Road was funded with 300 billion VND (12.7 million USD) from the central budget. Construction started in December 2025, and the project was completed in less than 11 months despite challenging conditions.
The newly inaugurated ATK Tan Trao Museum, meanwhile, was developed with an investment of 95 billion VND. Its four thematic exhibition areas bring together modern technology and artistic design in a solemn setting. Beyond preserving the nation’s historical memories, the museum reflects Tuyen Quang’s significance as the Capital of the Liberation Zone and the Capital of the Resistance.
Provincial authorities said the road and museum are expected to strengthen transport links and support cultural development and tourism. By connecting historical sites and preserving revolutionary heritage, the projects will also help ensure that the nation’s traditional values are passed on to future generations.
The province plans to strengthen the management and operation of both facilities, link museum activities with the broader network of historical sites, and improve services for residents and visitors. It will also promote heritage tourism in conjunction with education on revolutionary traditions.

N.A. President Tran Thanh Man, his spouse Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga, and the delegation offer incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary leaders at the Memorial House dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors within the Tan Trao Special National Historical Site. |
As part of the visit, N.A. President Tran Thanh Man, his spouse and the delegation paid tribute at the statue of “President Ho Chi Minh in Tan Trao” and offered incense at Tan Trao Communal House.
The statue was created using archival photographs of President Ho Chi Minh from the nearly six years he spent living and working in Tuyen Quang. The project reflects the profound respect and gratitude of the Party, State and people for his immense contributions, while adding a prominent feature to the historical and cultural landscape of the Tan Trao Special National Historical Site.
Tan Trao Communal House holds a key place in the country’s revolutionary history. It hosted the Tan Trao National Congress on August 16-17, 1945, bringing together more than 60 delegates from the North, Central and South. Participants also represented patriotic political parties, prominent figures, intellectuals, mass organizations, ethnic groups, religious communities and overseas Vietnamese.
The delegation also offered incense at the Memorial House honoring President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors within the historical site. The ceremony paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary leaders who lived and worked in Tuyen Quang during the period leading up to the uprising and throughout the nine-year resistance war against French colonial rule.
Earlier on November 8, the N.A. President, his spouse and the delegation paid their respects to President Ton Duc Thang at his Memorial House.
