PANO – President Ho Chi Minh made the statement “Vietnam is one, the Vietnamese nation is one. Rivers may go dry, mountains may wear flat, but people in northern and southern Vietnam are blood brothers and sisters and this truth can never change”.

In order to realize the ideal, people across North Vietnam, from cities to rural areas, ebulliently responded to a campaign “the whole nation for the beloved compatriots in South”, to speed up production to support people and troops in the South to drive US invaders out of the country.
