Disabled children in Vietnam.

PANO - A press conference to introduce the programme “Spring tree - lighting up charitable hearts - Tet Festival 2007” was held at the main office of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists' Association this week.

Beneficiaries will be 2,000 disabled and orphaned children with special needs in 67 centres in Ho Chi Minh City.

The festival will take place on Feb.4 at the Phan Dinh Phung Sports Club in Ho Chi Minh City. Participants will be entertained by an art performance, a fashion show and given gifts and lucky money from the organisation board. The total cost for the event is estimated at around 433million VND.
