The budget airline Jetstar Pacific announced on January 1 that a woman passenger had suffered a stroke on Flight BL795, which left Hanoi at 3.20pm on December 31 and collapsed to the floor.

Doctors and airhostesses on the flight administered first aid and resuscitated the passenger.

Last month, during a flight, an airhostess saved a child who had a candy stuck in her throat.

In 2011, an airhostess also helped a woman give birth while on a flight from HCM City to Vinh city in the central province of Nghe An.
