PANO – The final round of the 2016 Miss Vietnam beauty contest will take place on August 28 at the Phu Tho Sporting Hall in Ho Chi Minh City, as revealed at a press conference on August 22.

During the final night, 30 finalists will compete in ao dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress), bikini, party dress and final question and answer (for top 5) shows. Apart from the main titles of the competition like Miss Vietnam, the first and second runner-ups, the organizing panel will present the titles of Miss Humanity, Miss Beach, Miss Talent, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Ao Dai, and Miss Party Dress.

This year’s competition raised nearly VND 4 billion for charity projects to support disadvantaged people in different areas nationwide. The organizing panel also presented VND 500 million to the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union Central Committee’s Fund for Talent Support.

The night will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television Channels 1 and 9 and 14 local TV channels.
