British Council organises a contest for Vietnamese English teachers

A contest, “My favorite lecture”, was officially launched on November 22nd in Hanoi by the British Council for Vietnamese teachers nationwide.
Accordingly, contestants will write a 150 word-essay in English about their favorite teaching activities, based on information on English learning and teaching websites such as: www.teachingenglish.edu.vn or www.learnenglishkids.org.uk.
Entries, including personal information (full name, address, phone number, mail address, name of school), the name of website mentioned in entry, the details of favorite teaching activities and the explanation of why children like the activities.
Vietnamese teachers should post their entries on web of facebook ELT Vietnam or on website: www.teachingenglish.edu.vn.
Entries that receive largest voters and comments from friend list will enter the final round. Finals will be marked by jury from the British Council. The list of winners will be announced on late January, 2012.
The winners of the contest will have an opportunity to take part in a training course in the UK. Organizing panel will also present four second and 10 third prizes to most outstanding contestants.
The deadline of the entry is on January 25th, 2012.
