PANO – The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, on September 22nd, awarded the “Brave Youth” insignias to 27 members of Coast Guard Region 1 and the Department of Foreign Relations of the Coast Guard Command.

Present at the event were Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Chairman of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, and Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s Central Committee.

The recipients made every effort to protect the national sovereignty and maintain peace and stability over the nation’s sea and islands.

Also on this occasion, the Coast Guard Region 1 received many gifts from Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and Corporation 319 of the Ministry of National Defence.
