According to Mr. Duong, Vietnamese expats in Western states of the U.S. always think of their homeland and promote mutual support among the community. They also believe in the leadership of the Vietnamese Party, State, and Government as well as the collective will of the people in fighting against the pandemic.
On this occasion, the VWS, CWS’s representatives in Vietnam, donated VND 200 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) chapter in Ho Chi Minh City to support the COVID-19 fight and people affected by droughts and saltwater intrusion in the Mekong Delta. In recent years, the CWS and VWS have supported numerous social welfare programs in the city.
