Hosted for the fifth time by the Vietnamese-Russian Volunteer Club under the Vietnamese Students' Association in Russia, the event aimed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam’s Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 – 2025) and the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21).

At the opening ceremony, speakers highlighted the importance of reading for young people and praised the book fair as a meaningful initiative that nurtures knowledge and community spirit from an early age. They also expressed their hope that the book fair would continue enriching the cultural lives of Vietnamese youths through a strong reading culture.

The event featured the finals of two student competitions “Path to the Peak of Knowledge” and “Flow of Aspirations," offering a vibrant platform for learning and exchange.

Attendees also took part in interactive cultural booths showcasing crafts, folk games, cuisine, and volunteer activities that reflected the strong Vietnam–Russia friendship and the creativity of the younger generation.

The book fair left a strong impression on the Vietnamese student community in Russia. Through five editions, the initiative has grown into a meaningful cultural and intellectual space, nurturing knowledge, cultural identity, and a spirit of integration among young Vietnamese abroad.
