More remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers found in Cambodia repatriated
PANO – On June 28, at Hoa Lu International Border Gate, the Steering Committee for search, collection, repatriation, and verification of fallen soldiers' remains (Steering Committee 515) of Binh Phuoc province held a ceremony to receive remains of 104 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who fell down in Cambodia during the war in Vietnam.
The remains were searched and repatriated by Team K72 under the Binh Phuoc provincial Military Command during the 2023-2024 dry season.

* On the same day, Steering Committee 515 of Tay Ninh province organized a similar ceremony to receive remains of 172 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who sacrificed in Cambodia during wartime.
Reportedly, the remains were collected in the Cambodian provinces of Banteay Meanchey, Oddar Meancheay, Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, and Tbong Khmun from March to June 2024 by Team K70 of Military Region 7 and Team K71 of the Tay Ninh Military Command.

At the events, leaders of the two provinces commended the spirit, responsibility, and achievements by the teams’ members, and thanked the Cambodian localities for their assistance and support to the teams in their mission.
