More remains of martyrs repatriated from Laos
PANO – The Nghe An provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Central Committee on May 10 held a solemn ceremony at Nghi Loc to receive 57 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who had laid their lives while serving their international duty in Laos.
These sets of remains found by the provincial Military Command’s Search Team during the 2019-2020 dry season were not yet been identified.

Over the past 35 years, the Military Region 4 Command and Nghe An province have cooperated with local authorities and people in the Lao provinces of Vientiane, Xaysomboun and Xiengkhuang to collect and repatriate more than 12,000 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer experts and troops from Laos.
On the same day, the Ha Tinh provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Central Committee also held a burial service for 9 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer troops and experts dying in which early found and repatriated from Bolikhamsai province and Vientiane, capital of Laos.
