Liaison board for veterans of Division 338 established
PANO - A traditional liaison board for veterans of Division 338 (now the Defense-Economic Unit 338 under Military Region 1) made its debut on May 15 in Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province.

The ceremony saw the participation of nearly 200 veterans from many cities and provinces across the country.
During the ceremony, generations of Division 338’s veterans recalled the traditions of the division. In particular, Division 338 was founded on December 11, 1956 (descendant of units operating on the Southern theater in the resistance war against the French colonialists).

At present, the division is stationed in Lang Son and Bac Giang provinces. The division is responsible for training officers and reserve force, defense and economic development in Bac Giang province and five border districts of Lang Son province, including Loc Binh, Dinh Lap, Cao Loc, Trang Dinh, Van Lang.
Currently, 128 veterans in Lam Dong province have worked for Division 338. Therefore, the establishment of the liaison board aims to promote production and business activities, conduct more meaningful activities in the time ahead, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and beautifying the images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.
