The Defense Minister hoped that Mother Luong’s family would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition and actively contribute to local socio-economic development. He also requested the local Party committees and authorities to continue to pay special attention to and create the best possible conditions to care for Heroic Vietnamese Mother Tran Thi Luong.

While visiting 97-year-old Heroic Vietnamese Mother Tran Thi Duong in Dong hamlet, Hoa Long commune, Ba Ria city, the defense leader warmly asked about her health and living conditions, expressing his happiness to see that Mother Duong, despite her advanced age, stays healthy and mentally sharp.

General Phan Van Giang hoped that the family would continue to take good care of her and keep contributing their efforts and wisdom to the development of the local community.

On this occasion, General Phan Van Giang, together with representatives of the leadership of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and the Military Region 7 Command, presented gifts to the two Heroic Vietnamese Mothers.
