Another bomb found near Long Bien Bridge
PANO - The Military Command of Hanoi’s Long Bien district, in collaboration with the Engineering Department and Engineering Battalion 544 under the Hanoi Capital Command, moved an M-118 bomb safely on October 24.

On 5:30 p.m. on October 21, a local person found the bomb that was some 200m from the bridge.
Upon receiving the news, Long Bien district’s Military Command mobilized forces to guard the site.
According to functional agencies, the bomb was some 1,400 kg in weight, 210 cm in length, and 56 cm in diameter.
Earlier, on October 10, the Military Command of Long Bien district teamed with relevant forces to relocate a bomb of the same style and safely handle it.
