The military engineers prepare to dispose of the bomb.

The bomb was an MK36 magnetic bomb, measured 1.6m in length, 27cm in diameter and 240kg in weight, with 80kg of explosives inside. Notably, the bomb had an intact MK32 fuse, making it unsafe to move.

The military engineers worked with local functional forces to cordon off the site, then carried out an on-site detonation using a remote electronic ignition system, following safety regulations.
