This is the second year that the Vietnam Border Guard Command has organized the Mid-autumn Festival for children in border areas. 

In his speech, Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Political Commissar of the Vietnam Border Guard Command, underlined that the program aimed at creating a joyful atmosphere for children on Mid-autumn Festival, motivating them to strive in their studies.

On this occasion, the organizing panel handed over 2,437 gifts to children in Tan Thanh commune; 186 scholarships to needy students with good academic results, including 7 Cambodians; and 43 gifts to policy beneficiaries, with a total value exceeding VND 740 million.

During the event, children eagerly enjoyed meaningful art performances and animated films about the Mid-autumn Festival.
