Images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers standing side by side with local people left a deep impression on their hearts. Despite the harsh weather conditions, “white blouse” soldiers exerted tireless efforts to take care of infected cases, border troops kept guarding around the clock at medical checkpoints along the borderline to prevent the spread of pandemic into the country, soldiers giving up their barracks to quarantined people and served meals for them every day, as well as delivered food and necessities to each household in the locked-down areas.

It is true that although the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing in a complicated and unpredictable way, Uncle Ho’s soldiers will always do their utmost for the people’s safety. Their sacrifice and dedication have beautified the images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers among the people, consolidated the people’s trust in the Vietnam’s People Army and the government, as well as joined national efforts to defeat COVID-19.
