Reportedly, the patient had dived to catch seafood at a depth of 25 meters. Nearly 60 minutes later, the patient felt tired and unable to speak and walk. He suffered from shortness of breath, rapid pulse and low blood pressure.

After receiving a medical examination, the patient was diagnosed with decompression sickness due to deep diving. Then he was treated by doctors and medical staff of Song Tu Tay Infirmary.

Fisherman Nguyen Van Sang, a crew-member of trawler KH 96888TS, had a high fever and felt tired. It was hard for him to breathe and move his limbs.

Promptly, Ship 211 rushed to the scene and gave the fisherman first aid and medicines. One hour later, the patient was in stable health condition. The ship required captain Thach brought the patient to Con Dao district's Medical Center.

As known, the captain was born in 1971 in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province. His trawler departed on August 6 from the fishing port of Vung Tau city.
