Troops participate in extinguishing forest fires
PANO – More than 200 troops from Battalion 309 (Regiment 1, Division 330, Military Region 9), in coordination with local public security and militia forces as well as local people, put out out a forest fire in An Hao commune, Tinh Bien district, An Giang province on March 3 and 4.

The blaze occurred at 8:00 on March 3 West of Cam Mountain. Due to the dry weather and strong winds, the blaze broke out quickly.
After receiving the information, Regiment 1 of Division 330 immediately sent 200 troops and equipment to the scene to put out the fire.
After nearly two days, the fire was finally under control. Nevertheless, it could break out again due to the dry weather and strong winds. The troops, in collaboration with local firefighters, will continue to be on high alert.
