Tet gifts sent to Con Dao island
PANO - A mission of Naval Region 2 Command under the Vietnam People’s Navy, led by Senior Colonel Huynh Vinh Tuyen, Deputy Commander, on January 14 visited and extended Tet greetings to the local civilian leadership and military units of the Con Dao island.
At the working sessions, leaders of the agencies and units briefed the mission on their coordination in maneuvering their forces, supporting fishermen, and ensuring political security, social order and safety on the island district.

On behalf of the mission, Senior Colonel Huynh Vinh Tuyen extended best wishes and presented Tet gifts of the Naval Region 2 Command to civilian agencies and military units.
He affirmed that over the past time, the naval units and Party's civilian agencies and the armed forces stationed in the district has consolidated their relations for the common missions, and he thanked the agencies and units in the Con Dao island’s authority and people for their support for naval troops.
Tuyen also expressed his wish that local authorities and units will continue to support the forces of the Naval Region 2 Command stationed in the district in fulfilling their assigned tasks, contributing to firmly protecting national sovereignty over the Southern continental shelf of the country.
