Son Tinh soldiers help people build houses after floods

PANO - On December 27, implementing “Quang Trung Campaign,” the Defensive Area Command Region 1-Son Tinh under the Quang Ngai provincial Military Command coordinated with authorities of Tay Tra commune, Quang Ngai to mobilize nearly 30 officers, soldiers, and militia forces to participate in supporting and helping people build six houses damaged and collapsed due to the recent historical floods.

Defensive Area Command Region 1-Son Tinh builds houses for local households.

Previously, the Quang Ngai provincial Military Command assigned the Defensive Area Command Region 1-Son Tinh to help build houses for 17 households in Son Ha, Tay Tra Bong, and Tay Tra communes. This is considered an important political task, demonstrating the military’s responsibility towards the people.

Therefore, the working team affirmed the determination to implement the mission with the highest spirit and responsibility, utilizing all materials and means of transport to complete their tasks.

The officers and soldiers enthusiastically took part in every stage, from dismantling old houses, clearing the ground, and transporting construction materials, to performing technical tasks. The spirit of Uncle Ho’s soldiers contributed to accelerating the construction progress.

Many houses have been gradually completed.

The “Quang Trung Campaign” is a specific action of officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Quang Ngai province to help people overcome difficulties. At the same time, it also in response to the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh that the entire political system must get involved with a speedy, drastic, and synchronous spirit to help people soon stabilize their lives.
