During the program, Saigon New Port Corporation disseminated information about the importance of the sea, legal documents related to safe and sustainable fishing, environment protection, logistics sites and support activities for fishermen while fishing at sea.

Medical cabins, national flags and lifebuoys presented to fishermen

The corporation will also support fishermen with food, fresh water, and fuel when needed. In case of emergency, the corporation can also help fishermen repair their trawlers and save them.

At the opening ceremony of the program, the medical staff of Saigon New Port Corporation provided local people with free medical screening and medicines. They also presented gifts to needy people and national contributors’ families and gave free medical cabins, lifebuoys, and national flags to local fishermen.
