The beneficiaries are Luu Dinh Quang and his wife Phan Thi Thuy Than, who live on K02/5 Bac Dau street in Thanh Binh ward, Hai Chau district, Da Nang.
Reportedly, Quang is in poor health due to a stroke and cannot walk while Than has run a small restaurant for many years. At present, they are living in a downgraded house.
Learning their situation, a chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Thanh Binh ward called on sponsors to donate 74 million VND to buy construction materials. Meanwhile, troops of the Da Nang Port Border Gate are in charge of implementing the construction plan.
As scheduled, the construction is expected to be finished in 20 days. The newly-upgraded house is expected to help Quang’s family stabilize their life.
