The relief aid, worth more than VND 300 million, was donated by the Clean Hand program, residents of Hanoi-based M5 Hanoi apartment building, and other individuals and social organizations through the “Sympathy for the central region” program which the PAN launched on October 23.
The newspaper will work closely with the Border Guard Command of Quang Binh province, Ha Tinh province’s authorities, and several associations and charity groups to hand over the aid to people in need in the two flood-devastated localities.
Addressing the launch of the “Sympathy for the central region” program on October 23, Senior Colonel Doan Xuan Bo, the PAN’s Editor-in-Chief, emphasized that the donations would surely reach the hands of food victims so that they could overcome their difficulties and stabilize their lives soon. He stressed that the donations will be allocated publicly and transparently.
More donations should be sent to the newspaper’s bank account 0521101283003 at the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank’s Dien Bien Phu branch or the newspaper’s headquarters at 7 Phan Dinh Phung, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi. The program runs till October 30, 2020.
