The joint forces went to each flooded area to help locals collect remaining properties, clean up the environment, provide locals with free health checkups and medicines and present them gifts for resumption to their normal life.
Earlier, on August 9, heavy rains in Ia H’Drai district caused a flash flood, making ten residential areas inundated and isolated, damaging many houses and the locals’ properties.
According to Bui Van Nhang, Vice Chairman of the district People’s Committee, the flood claimed no life, but caused huge loss for people’s properties. Though water in ten submerged and isolated area has receded, the weather development is still complicated. Thus, the district has to mobilize forces to evacuate households to safer areas. The forces will also provide the locals with other necessities to help them resume their normal life.
