Nghe An’s border guards rescue distressed fishermen at sea
PANO - The Quanh Thuan Border Post of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command has successfully rescued four fishermen in distress at sea.
Earlier, while returning to shore, trawler NA 91305 TS, with Tran Sao Mai from Hai Van commune, Quynh Luu district at the helm, hit a rocky cliff and sank. The trawler was 300m from Lach Quen estuary.

Have been reported on the incident, Quynh Thuan Border Post sent a speed boat with six officers and soldiers to approach the incident scene and safely take the four fishermen ashore.
According to local authorities, the fishermen’s health is now stable. The trawler’s owner is coming up with a plan to salvage and tow the vessel ashore for repair.
