Also, delegates discussed how to raise the quality and efficiency of information dissemination of information about sea and islands in 2023 and the coming years.
Speaking at the event, Senior Captain Tran Xuan Van emphasized that over the past years, the Naval Region 1 Command and the Nghe An provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education have closely worked together to effectively implement information dissemination on national sea and islands. In Nghe An province, Flotilla 137 coordinated with local authorities to carry out mass mobilization work, gratitude activities, cultural and artistic exchanges, sports events associated with information dissemination on national sea and islands.
Concluding the working session, the two sides agreed on the coordination contents and programs about dissemination activities on sea and island in the coming time.

* On the same day, Naval Region 1 released the decision to sponsor a needy child, called Nguyen Nhu Quynh from Rong village, Nghi Thiet commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. Her father died in 2022 while conducting fishing activities at sea.
Accordingly, the unit will give books, school supplies, clothes, and necessities to, provide medical examinations, medicines, heath care and treatment, and financial support for the recipient.
On the occasion, the Naval Region 1 Command presented gifts, including life jackets, national flags and money in cash, to five fishermen in Nghi Thiet commune and handed over gifts to five policy beneficiaries in difficult conditions in Phuc Tho commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province.
