Thu Duc city delegation visits Naval Region 2

Senior Captain Le Ba Quan informs the guest about recent sea and islands-related situations.

Senior Captain Le Ba Quan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Naval Region 2, received the delegation.

During the visit, the delegation watched a film on the traditions of Naval Region 2. They were also briefed on the recent situations of sea and islands, the development of the Naval Service, and the building of revolutionary, standardized, elite, modernized Naval Region 2 to meet the new task requirements in the new situation.

The delegation also offered incense at the model barracks of Naval Region 2, saw the DK1 Platform and Missile Cutter models, presented souvenirs and had an artistic exchange with naval troops.

On the occasion, the delegation presented 20 gifts to wounded and sick soldiers, and servicemen suffering from serious diseases and relatives of martyrs of Naval Region 2’s affiliated agencies and units. It also presented troops of the region with 4,000 succulent plants, 10 dustbins, steam fans and other necessities with a total value of nearly VND 110 million.

In the coming time, the Naval Region 2 Command and the Party committees and political organizations of Ho Chi Minh City in general and of Thu Duc city in particular will boost their close coordination to have deeper knowledge of national sea and island situations and activities in safeguarding national maritime sovereignty.
