According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Ngan, a representative from HDBank, the gifts will help the border troops as well as forces on-duty in border areas overcome difficulties and fulfill their assigned tasks.
On the same day, the Tay Ninh provincial Border Guard Command has immediately handed over the necessities to troops at checkpoints in border areas.
On this occasion, HDBank also donated a photocopier and a washing machine to the Suoi Lam Border Guard Post of the Tay Ninh provincial Border Guard Command.
* On the same day, Vice Chairman of Ethnic Council of the National Assembly Nguyen Lam Thanh and ANY Group Joint Stock Company visited and presented 20,000 medical masks to the Lang Son provincial Border Guard Command.
Over the past time, the border unit has established 156 checkpoints along the borderline to manage and prevent illegal border crossings, contributing to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile they also boosted dissemination work to raise local people’s awareness of the disease prevention and control measures.
During the meeting Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh acknowledged and hailed the great achievements of the provincial border guards, asking them to continue to protect national sovereignty and security as well as prevent and control the pandemic.
