The troops recently sacrificed themselves while implementing natural disaster prevention and control tasks at Forest Ranger Station 67 in Phong Xuan commune, Phong Dien district and Defense-Economic Unit 337 under Military Region 4.

The sum was donated by the association of Vietnamese veterans in Germany and the German-Vietnamese Friendship Association in Magdeburg city.

The delegation gave 12,575 euros and gifts, worth VND 9,812,000 each, to the martyrs’ family.

Speaking at the event, Major General Dung stressed that in order to ease the difficulties and pain of the relatives and families of the martyrs, the Party, the State, the military and people have promptly provided material and spiritual support for them. These meaningful activities aim to spread love and kindness to and from Vietnamese expatriates around the world.

Gen. Dung highly appreciated the generosity of the association of the Vietnamese veterans in Germany and the German-Vietnamese Friendship Association in Magdeburg city during this hard time.
