At 21:00 on April 7, MRCC III was informed that while operating 37 nautical miles to the East-Southeast of Vung Tau cape, trawler BV 95209 TS was at risk of sinking due to strong winds and high seas. Immediately, the center sent ship SAR 413 for the rescue mission and coordinated with the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Border Guard Command to call for assistance from nearby ships.

At 22:15 the same day, the joint rescue team located and saved six out of eight crewmen of the trawler.

* At 16:00 on April 8, trawler NA 95093 TS, with Le Van Hoa in Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province at the helm, was towed ashore safely by ship BP 06-19-01 of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command.

Earlier, at 13:00 on April 7, the trawler got an engine problem, which made the boat go adrift while operating 55 nautical miles off Cua Lo.

On receiving the information, the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command assigned 15 troops on board ship BP 06-19-01 to rescue the troubled trawler. At 04:00 on April 8, the ship approached the trawler and towed it to Lach Quen fishing port.
