More care for policy beneficiaries
PANO - A delegation of the Ministry of National Defense, led by Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Deputy Defense Minister, on December 11 visited and presented gifts to policy families and national contributors in Chau Thanh district, An Giang province.
This was a practical activity to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 31st anniversary of the Whole-People’s Defense Festive Day (December 22).
Addressing the event, Gen. Luong affirmed that the Party, the State and the military always remember and appreciate the great contributions of policy families and national contributors to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. He encouraged them to maintain their excellent qualities and good traditions to overcome all difficulties, and strive to become good examples for younger generations to follow.

He urged the Party Committee, local authorities, and relevant agencies to continue to pay attention to policy families and national contributors, thereby helping them have a better life.
Earlier, the delegation offered incense and flowers at the Martyrs' Cemetery of An Giang province.
The same day, a delegation of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, led by Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, Deputy Defense Minister, offered incense and flowers at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Binh Thuan province, and presented 20 gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers and policy beneficiaries in the province.
On the occasion, Military Region 7 and the Military Command of Binh Thuan province also presented 40 gifts to policy families in the area.
