More care for policy beneficiaries
PANO – Artillery Brigade 40 of Army Corps 3 of the Vietnam People’s Army handed over 300 kilograms of rice to disadvantaged students of Primary and Secondary Schools of Dak Jo Ta commune in Mang Yang district, the Central province of Gia Lai on August 31.
The gift was donated by troops of the Brigade under the “Benevolent Jar of Rice” campaign.

The beneficiaries are ethnic minority students, who are children of needy households in the area. Many among them had to quit schooling to assist their parents to earn their living.
Previously, the Brigade donated funds and devoted 64 working days to build accommodations for local students ahead of their new academic year.
* The same day, Joint Stock Company 32 of the General Department of Logistics in association with the People’s Committee of Ward 10, Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City presented a house of gratitude to the family of Van Cong Oanh On, a needy household in Binh Khanh commune of Can Gio district.

The Company donated VND 50 million to the building of the 60sq.m house.
So far, the Company has built 35 houses of gratitude and repaired 16 others for disadvantaged laborers, taken care of five Vietnamese heroic mothers in Ho Chi Minh City, Long An and Binh Duong provinces and carried out other social activities.
