He also noted that in response to a emulation drive themed “The whole country joins hands for the poor – No one is left behind,” the whole military has mobilized all resources to participate in activities for the poor; implemented national target programs on sustainable poverty reduction and new style-rural area building; carried out social welfare policies; overcome natural disaster consequences; prevented and controlled COVID-19 pandemic, to name but a few.

In 2022, the MND supported VND 2.2 billion for Thanh Hoa province to build Ban Tinh Kindergarten, Tam Lu commune, Quan Son district. Especially, as scheduled, in the 2022-2024 period, the ministry will build 116 comrade houses for needy households in Thanh Hoa province, worth VND 80 million each.

The GDP’s deputy chief affirmed that the activities would promote the noble traditions of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, in response to the “The whole country joins hands for the poor – No one is left behind” movement, while contributing to boosting the socio-economic development, enhancing defense and security, and building new-style rural areas.
