Military units take measure to support needy people
PANO – Amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City and Southern provinces, Military Region 7’s Party Committee and Command, in coordination with local authorities, took drastic measures in response to the disease.
Reportedly, the military region has mobilized troops and militiamen, together with vehicles, to help people prevent and control the disease, harvest crops, transport and consume more than 180,000 tons of agricultural products, among others.

Especially, the Military Region 7 Command has also launched a campaign to assist needy people in overcoming the pandemic, promoting the combined strength and mobilizing over VND 812 billion for the pandemic-hit people.
* Last year, the Vietnam Border Guard Command boosted movements, such as “Border Spring program,” and “Standing side by side with women in border areas,” in border areas.
Especially, they are also supporting nearly 2,500 students to go to school and taking care of nearly 360 children at border stations.
