During the event, Colonel Kieu Khanh Dung, Chief of the Department of Political Affairs of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, together with officials of the Da Nang municipal Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, disseminated information about the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies on ethnicity and religion; and national sea and islands as well as the coast guard force.

Meanwhile, the delegation of Coast Guard Region 2 also mobilized the ethnic minorities to eliminate backward customs and preserve and promote traditional cultural values, promote solidarity and mutual help, join hands in the fight against any kinds of crimes; strictly observe State’s laws, among others.

On the occasion, the unit presented 30 gifts, worth VND 1 million each, and 300 national flags to needy households, showing the care of the coast guards to the ethnic minorities in Hoa Bac commune.

* The same day, in Tung Chruc village, Ia Khai commune, Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province, Army Corps 15 held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a Community Cultural House to the locality.

The construction started from October 19, 2022 and was invested by Army Corps 15. Meanwhile, the Board of Director of Company 715 and the Ia Khai commune People’s Committee, in coordination with relevant units, strictly observed and inspected the construction so that it completed as scheduled with good quality.

The construction is 5 meter long and 3.2 meters wide, with its lighting system using single phase 220V power network, at a cost of nearly VND 755 million extracted from the State’s budget.

Addressing the event, Second-in-command of Army Corps 15 Senior Colonel Khuat Ba Cao congratulated the locals, emphasizing the meaning of the construction which will boost the locals’ cultural and living standards.

He also requested Company 715, stationed in the area, to closely work with the local authorities to take full advantage of the construction, while disseminating information so that the locals strictly follow the Party’s guidelines, and observe the State’s laws and policies as well as local regulations.
