Major General Pham Van Lap visiting doctors and nurses

The delegation consisting of 10 doctors and nurses together with modern equipment provided free health checkups for 450 people and presented gifts worth nearly VND 100 million to 40 households.

The program contributed to enhancing the Vietnamese beautiful tradition “When drinking water, remember its source” and aimed to pay tribute to wounded soldiers, martyrs’ families as well as to consolidate military-civilian relations.

Major General Pham Van Lap, the department’s Deputy-Political Commissar instructed all affiliated units to continue maintaining military-civilian medical models and being ready for any emergency cases. The military medical facilities should closely work with local medical ones to exchange information and provide health checkups for the locals, he added.
