Military unit presents hundreds of gifts to pandemic-hit people
PANO – The General Department of Technical Service handed over 600 gifts, worth VND 300 million in total, to policy families and disadvantaged people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the wards of Long Binh and Long Binh Tan, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province on August 20.

Reportedly, troops of the general department have joined hands with people across the country to fight against the pandemic. They have donated VND 54 million to the national COVID-19 vaccine fund by sending 1,206 messages, given 784 blood units, provided free medicine and health checkups, worth VND over 600 millions, for over 5,000 people in pandemic-hit areas.
Additionally, the unit has presented numerous necessities such as rice, vegetables, and fruits to pandemic-hit people.
