Military school receives Vietnamese returners amid COVID-19 pandemic
PANO – The Military School of Military Region 5 on May 16 welcomed 198 Vietnamese citizens returning from Germany and Spain to the concentrated quarantine area inside its Defense - Security Training Center.
Previously, the school’s Steering Board for COVID-19 prevention and control held a conference to deploy missions to relevant forces. The school’s military personnel have completed all required preparation to serve new-comers.

In face of the complicated of the COVID-19 pandemic across the world and high risk of infection for those in close contact with infected cases, the school’s leadership has required all troops on duty to strictly apply preventive measures and ensure safety when serving the Vietnamese returners.
During their stay at the quarantine area, the Vietnamese citizens will be provided with food rations as regulated by the Ministry of National Defense and other necessities. Their health will be also checked regularly to promptly detect COVID-19 suspected cases.
