Military Hospital 175 sends more medical staff to HCMC
PANO – Amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), on November 17, Military Hospital 175 mobilized 60 medical personnel to reinforce the COVID-19 fight in the city.
This is the fifth time the hospital has sent troops to take part in the pandemic prevention and control work in HCMC so far, with a total of 600 people. This force has implemented many tasks, such as taking samples for COVID-19 testing, implementing COVID-19 vaccination, working at Field Hospital for Infectious Diseases No.7, and supporting other COVID-19-hit neighboring provinces.

The hospital’s personnel in total were divided into 20 medical teams for the three districts of Go Vap, Binh Tan and Tan Phu. The doctors and nurses all have good expertise and experience, including those involved in COVID-19 prevention and control work over the past time.

According to the hospital’s Deputy Director, Senior Colonel Tran Quoc Viet, with a high determination, the medical personnel would like to contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic across the country. They will overcome difficulties so as to ensure the success of the work in the new normal.
