Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union sending thank-you letters to individuals |
* On the same day, the Women’s Union of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to honor teams and individuals who have made great contribution to COVID-19 prevention and control.
Over the past time, many activities have been organized to support the disease-affected people. On this occasion, the union thanked and honored 21 teams and 46 individuals.
* The People’s Committee of Thu Duc city (Ho Chi Minh City) reviewed a pilot phase of allowing local eateries to serve alcohol (from October 28 to November 14). Reportedly, they operate at only 40-50 percent of their capacity and most of them have observed pandemic prevention and control measures as regulated.
The municipal authorities decided to continue supporting the pilot phase while strictly assessing the disease situation, paving the way for gradually expanding the service to a few more districts along with close monitoring.
