This practical activity to share difficulties with families of national contributors and poor households has helped promote the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers and boost the military-civilian ties.

According to Senior Colonel Hoang Minh Dung, head of the delegation of Naval Region 2, after receiving the request of local people, the unit immediately sent Ship 935 to carry 250 cubic meters of fresh water to people in Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province. The ship, along with the Binh Thang Border Station and local authorities, provided free fresh water for people in the region.

On the occasion, the delegation of Naval Region 2 visited and presented Tet gifts to 10 policy families.

This activity demonstrated the good sentiment and responsibilities of the armed forces for needy people, especially during the Tet. As planned, the unit will supply about 1,000 cubic meters of fresh water for local people on this occasion.

* The Na Co Sa Border Guard Station under the Border Guard Command of Dien Bien province, in association with the People's Committee of Na Co Sa Commune (Nam Po District), held a Spring program and a "Green Chung cake wrapping" festival in 2020.

This year, 350 Chung cakes were presented to poor families in the area. The border guards also held various cultural activities and folk games, such as stick pushing, tug of war, “nem con” (throwing a sacred fabric ball through the ring) in the locality.

On the occasion, the Na Co Sa Border Guard Station also visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries, chiefs of villages, and prestigious people.
