Meaningful gifts offered to needy people
PANO - Military Hospital 211 of the Logistics Department of Army Corps 3 on July 9 provided free health check-ups and medicines and presented gifts to 500 policy beneficiaries, national contributors, and needy people in HNol commune, Dak Doa district, Gia Lai province.
Severe cases discovered during the examination were referred to hospitals for further treatment. On the occasion, the hospital also presented 330 gifts to policy beneficiaries and poor families.
According to Senior Colonel, Dr. Vo Van Khoi, Deputy Director of the hospital, the hospital holds such a program every year in an effort to contribute its part to the implementation of the policies for national contributors and military people’s families. The program also showed the responsibilities of and the hospital’s staff for those who had made great sacrifices for the national cause.

* The same day, the Military Command of Ha Nam province and the provincial Red Cross Society, provided free health checkups and medicines for policy beneficiaries, poor families, and Agent Orange/dioxin victims prior to the 72nd War Invalids' and Martyrs' Day (July 27).
During the two days, nearly 400 people in Nhat Tuu commune, Kim Bang district, and Duy Minh commune, Duy Tien district received free medical examination and medicines worth VND 100,000 each.
On the occasion, the Duy Tien District People's Committee gave 20 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to needy families.
