Local military command accompanies with fishermen
PANO – The Quang Tri Provincial Military Command, in association with the Provincial Women Association and relevant agencies, held a ceremony on March 21 to launch the “Accompanying young fishermen at sea” program in 2021.

The program is part of activities of the local youth and armed forces in celebration of the success of the 13th National Party Congress, towards the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the all-level women congresses in the 2021-2026 term.
During the program, the provincial command and relevant units have collaborated to implement numerous meaningful activities.
Over 400 troops of the command have collected waste at Cua Viet waters, contributing to cleaning the beach and raising the community’s awareness of environmental protection.
Also, the program displays the care of local authorities for fishermen, contributing to encouraging them to develop a maritime economy and protect national sovereignty over seas and islands.
