Law dissemination for relatives of recruits implemented in Kien Giang
PANO - Implementing the project “Promoting the role of the military in law dissemination, education, and mobilization at the grassroots level for the 2021-2027 period” (Project 1371 in short), the project’s Steering Committee under the Kien Giang provincial Military Command and Regiment 893 conducted law dissemination on March 8-9 for nearly 600 people who are relatives of recruits trained at Battalion 207.
During the event, orators updated participants with information related to the basic contents of the Law on Military Service 2015, amended and supplemented in 2017; Decree No.27 of the Government providing a number of policies for in-service and demobilized soldiers and their relatives; policies for relatives of in-service soldiers; Decree No.76 of the Government on logistics standards for in-service officers and defense workers; Circular No.95 of the Ministry of National Defense, among others.
Apart from dissemination activities, the organizing panel distributed nearly 600 leaflets for families of recruits.
This activity helped them have a better understanding of military service, as well as policies for in-service soldiers of the Vietnam People’s Army, so that they would be able to coordinate with military units to encourage recruits to accomplish all assigned missions. The event also contributed to raising officers and soldiers’ awareness and responsibility of law observance and military discipline.
