Further boosting cooperation on law dissemination and education
PANO - On December 4, in Hanoi, the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) and the Department of Legal Affairs under the Ministry of National Defense reviewed their cooperation on law dissemination and education.
The event was co-chaired by PAN’s Editor-in-Chief Major General Doan Xuan Bo and Director of the Department of Legal Affairs Major General Han Manh Thang.
Reportedly, since the two sides inked a coordination agreement, the PAN has conducted law dissemination with around 80 articles a month on its editions, and launched a contest on legal knowledge, drawing the participation of a large number of people and troops in the military.
Especially in 2024 alone, the PAN has worked with the Department of Legal Affairs to distribute a book titled “Laws and life” and hold two seminars themed “Diversifying methods to disseminate laws” in An Giang and Vinh Phuc provinces.
At the meeting, the two sides highlighted their cooperation in accordance with the coordination agreement. The PAN focused on renewing dissemination contents and measures, especially promoting the role of the military in educating and popularizing laws among local residents at the grassroots level, contributing to the implementation of a project titled “Promoting the role of the military in law dissemination, education, and mobilization at the grassroots level for the 2021-2027 period” (Project 1371 in short).
In the coming time, the two sides agreed to further enhance their cooperation on law dissemination and education, with a focus on regularly innovating forms of law dissemination and education on the PAN’s editions and official social networks; and continue to organize the contest on legal knowledge on the newspaper’s editions.
