Ho Chi Minh City delegation brings Tet atmosphere to Con Dao Special Zone

Soldiers of the Defensive Area Command Region 6-Con Dao Special Zone participate in the slow cycling competition.

The event was attended by Le Van Hoa and Le Thi Kim Thuy, Vice Chairpersons of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, along with numerous Trade Union members, workers, and officers and soldiers of the Defensive Area Command Region 6-Con Dao Special Zone under the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command.

Amidst the excitement of welcoming the up-coming 2026 Tet holiday and the on-going 14th National Party Congress, the participants were divided into six teams to compete in traditional games, such as slow cycling, sack races, group jump rope, and tug-of-war.

According to Le Van Hoa, these activities aimed not only to care for the spiritual life of workers and armed forces, but also to strengthen the military-civilian ties.

Earlier, the delegation visited and presented gifts to encourage officers and soldiers of Artillery Company 10 of the Defensive Area Command Region 6-Con Dao Special Zone.
